How does Semrush sell AI visibility, and what does it cost?
Semrush is an SEO suite and sells AI visibility together with the SEO tools. According to its pricing page, the SEO-only plan is $139 a month ($117.33 billed annually). The "SEO + AI Search" plans are $199 (50 prompts a day), $299 (100 prompts) and $549 (200 prompts).
It has a 7-day free trial. It also offers a free AI Visibility Checker that works three times a day with no account.

Why look for a Semrush alternative?
Going by the pricing page, another tool may fit better if:
- If you only want AI tracking, you also pay for the SEO part of the bundle.
- The smallest plan with AI search is $199, which can be high for a small single-brand business.
- Extra users are charged separately.
