Which questions are measured for ecommerce?
What is measured is not your brand search but the category questions a shopper asks before buying. We suggest the questions after reading your site; the suggestions do not contain your brand name. You edit and approve the list. Typical patterns:
- Discovery: "Which brands do you recommend for handmade leather wallets?"
- Comparison: "Brand A or brand B, which lasts longer?"
- Local: "Organic baby products store with fast delivery in London"
- Price: "Best wireless headphone brands under $100"
- Alternative: "Stores that sell similar products to brand X"
The dashboard labels each question by intent (Discovery, Comparison, Price, Local, Alternative, Brand), so you can see which intent you are missing from.
What do you see for your store?
- For every question on every engine: recommended, only mentioned, or not named.
- The stores and brands recommended instead of you, with share of voice. See competitor analysis.
- The pages the answers cite: review sites, "best X" lists, marketplace pages, forums.
- Whether your site is open to bots. See the AI bot access checker.

What work typically comes up for a store?
After the measurement the dashboard ranks the work in one list. For ecommerce sites these are typical:
- The category page has no text that answers the shopper's question directly: the paragraph to change is written from facts on your site.
- A firewall or theme blocks AI bots, or the content is drawn only by JavaScript.
- Your store is missing from the list and review pages the answers cite: each page gets who to write to and a draft email.
- Answers to sub-questions such as shipping, returns and warranty are scattered or missing. See query fan-out coverage.
Shopify, WooCommerce, BigCommerce: which platform does it work with?
The dashboard is not installed on your site; you enter your domain and the measurement runs from outside. So it works with any ecommerce platform.
Our separate Shopify app is in Shopify App Store review and cannot be installed yet; it will measure at store level and audit the product feed. Details: integrations. For Shopify apps you can install today, see AI visibility apps for Shopify.
What does it not measure?
- It measures your store and brand, not individual products. It does not answer "does this product of mine show up in ChatGPT".
- It does not measure ChatGPT's shopping results or in-app checkout flows; what is measured is the engines' written answer.
- Google AI Mode and AI Overviews are not measured. The dashboard does not connect to your traffic or sales. A recommendation is never guaranteed.
Scope and plans
The free trial measures 10 questions once on three engines, with no card. Paid plans measure weekly: Lite 10 questions ($29), Starter 25 ($79), Growth 50 ($199), Pro 150 questions ($499).
If you sell in several countries, you open a separate question set per language; questions can be in English or Turkish today.
